Programme

Unified Champion Schools

Unified Champion Schools supports schools that want to build a culture of inclusion through sport and youth engagement.

It rests on three pillars: Unified Sports, where pupils with and without intellectual disabilities play on the same team; inclusive youth leadership, with young people leading inclusion activities themselves; and whole-school engagement around these values.

The programme offers inter-school tournaments, sports days and awareness activities throughout the year. The aim is lasting change in how people with intellectual disabilities are seen.
